How long have you been an estate agent?
I have been an estate agent for about 9 and a half years now and started when I was 19. I have progressed to the position of Director in the last couple of years.
I love how every day is different and the team I work around. They make the job a bit easier, especially on difficult days. I also really enjoy meeting new people on valuations and seeing a huge variety of properties.
Typical day in work?
The day will start with a general meeting to catch up with the team and see how they are. Afterwards, I am usually out and about on valuations or taking details of new listings. I do like to get to the office as best I can during the day as well to deal with the day-to-day running of the business.
Best thing about the area you work in?
Kings Lynn is a vastly improving Town, the location of the Town makes it an attractive area to visit or relocate. It is only a 20 minute drive to the Norfolk coast and has great links to Cambridge or Norwich. Sandringham Estate is also only up the road, therefore tourism brings people from all around the Country. Due to the proximity of these attractions we are finding that substantial numbers of residents of the London area are retiring here.
Favourite part of the software?
It is really simple to use and the fact new starters have picked it up quickly says it all. If I had to pick a certain part then it would be the brochure generator and I have to mention how good the support team are.
BMW M4, my next target. I am staring at it as my screensaver right now!
Marbella. I tend to go a couple of times a year and it never lets me down. I’ll be off there again soon.
I was a personal trainer before becoming an estate agent so I regularly go to the gym and before an ACL injury occured, I was a keen footballer. I am a Man Utd fan and also play a bit of golf when I have the time.
